Jordan Week 2026 Officially Launched at Jordan Square.
On May 19, 2026 - Jordan University College (JUCo) officially launched Jordan Week 2026 in a vibrant ceremony held at Jordan Square, bringing together students, staff, and various stakeholders in celebration of the college's identity, values, and unity.
The launch event was officiated by the Principal of Jordan University College, Prof. Bertraim Mapunda, who served as the Guest of Honour. In his address, Prof. Mapunda emphasized the significance of Jordan Week as an opportunity to strengthen the sense of belonging within the JUCo community and to celebrate the institution's heritage, achievements, and commitment to excellence.
During the event, a number of university departments and offices provided information and services to students and staff at exhibition booths set up around Jordan Square. Participating offices included the ICT Office, National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), Quality Assurance, Human Resources, the Bursar's Office, the Loan Office, Postgraduate Studies, Undergraduate Studies, DPAA, the Dean of Students, and Jordan University College Students Organization (JUCSO).
The event also attracted several external stakeholders who engaged with the college community and offered a range of services. These included CRDB Bank, NMB Bank, Yas, the Public Service Ethics Secretariat, and Martha Leather Products.
The launch created a lively and informative atmosphere, giving students and staff the opportunity to interact directly with both institutional offices and partner organizations. The event demonstrated JUCo's strong commitment to supporting students' academic, financial, technological, and personal development.
Jordan Week 2026 continues with a series of activities and events designed to celebrate the spirit and mission of Jordan University College. The week will culminate on May 22, 2026, with the grand celebration of Jordan Day, the highlight of the week-long program.
