On 21 May 2026, Dr. Konrad Czernichowski,
together with Jordan University College (JUCo) students from the
Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF2) programme -
Ahmad Abdalla Ahmad, Mudhihili Maulid Lupanda,
and Meshack Mwalumbunga - visited the secondary school
I LO im. Bohaterow Porytowego Wzgorza in Janow Lubelski, Poland.
During the visit, they delivered a presentation on access to clean and safe water
as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting various measures
being undertaken by Tanzania to achieve this objective. The students and teachers
warmly welcomed the visitors in a friendly and cooperative atmosphere.
Following the presentation, the Polish students guided their guests on a tour of
Janow Lubelski and visited a sanctuary built at a site where the Virgin Mary is
believed to have appeared in 1645.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for academic and cultural exchange between
students from Tanzania and Poland. Furthermore, the Polish students were encouraged
to consider pursuing their studies at
Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS)
and
Jordan University College (JUCo).
