JUCo Staff Member Dr. Jacek A. Gorka Reaches the Summit of Mount Kilimanjaro
Jordan University College (JUCo) proudly congratulates Dr. Jacek A. Gorka, a member of the JUCo community, for successfully reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on May 26, 2026, while proudly representing the College.
During the remarkable expedition, Dr. Jacek A. Gorka carried a JUCo banner at the summit, showcasing the identity and presence of Jordan University College at one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. The achievement highlights the College’s visibility, recognition, and commitment to celebrating excellence beyond the academic environment.
The successful climb was accomplished through an expedition organized by Uprising Africa Tours, a Kilimanjaro-based tour operator, in collaboration with Hodophile Adventures, a Tanzania-based tour operator located in Arusha.
Dr. Jacek’s achievement reflects determination, adventure, and the spirit of excellence within the JUCo community. His journey not only celebrates a personal milestone but also contributes to promoting the image of JUCo and highlighting Tanzania’s tourism sector through the global recognition associated with Mount Kilimanjaro.
