Jordan University College (JUCo) is conducting its Orientation Week for New Students from 19 to 23 October 2026, alongside the ongoing Registration Exhibition, which brings together various offices and service providers to facilitate the registration and onboarding of newly admitted students.
The Orientation Week is designed to welcome new students to the College, introduce them to the academic and administrative environment, and provide essential information to help them begin their university journey successfully. The programme is running concurrently with the Registration Exhibition, where all offices involved in student registration have been brought together in one place to provide students with convenient access to registration services and guidance.
On 22 October 2026, the fourth day of the Orientation Week, the Principal of Jordan University College, Prof. Bertraim B. Mapunda, addressed the new students and shared important remarks as they begin their studies at JUCo. The Principal also visited the various booths at the Registration Exhibition, interacting with staff, students and participating service providers.
The Registration Exhibition has brought together key JUCo offices responsible for student registration and related services, enabling new students to complete various registration requirements in one location. The exhibition also provides an opportunity for students to access services and information from external stakeholders and partners.
Participating service providers include CRDB Bank, NMB Bank, YAS, Airtel, Vodacom, Halotel, the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), the Secretariat for Ethics, and the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). These institutions are showcasing their services, providing information, and offering direct customer services to students and other members of the JUCo community.
The Registration Exhibition will continue beyond the Orientation Week and is scheduled to run until 6 November 2026, giving students additional time to access registration-related services and other essential services offered by the participating institutions.
The initiative reflects JUCo's commitment to providing a smooth and student-centred transition for newly admitted students and ensuring that they receive the necessary academic, administrative and support services as they begin the 2026/2027 academic year.
