Frequently asked questions

How can I apply?

Application mode

Candidates are highly encouraged to apply directly to Jordan University College through the Online Application System: www.oas.juco.ac.tz

I did not score Division I/II; am I eligible to apply for the Bachelor?

Yes! The minimum direct entry is two principal passes (2 Ds), and the equivalent entry is a relevant diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Are the fees paid in instalments?

Yes, the tuition fees are paid in four instalments, twice per semester.

Do you have classes on the weekend?

No. We have no classes on the weekends. All classes end on Friday.

Can I find an accommodation on campus? How

Sure! Our college offers accommodation for both male and female students. The applicant needs to book for accommodation as early as possible.

Is JUCo responsible for students’ security and safety?

Yes! Our college has professional security officers responsible for protecting students and staff with their properties.

Can I change the programme of study after admission?

Yes, students can transfer from one programme of study to another provided they have the entry qualifications and available slots of the programme into which they need to transfer.

Does JUCo admit foreign students?

Certainly. JUCo is an international college. Its motto is ‘Teach All Nations’. Therefore it receives students from different parts of the world

Is it possible to secure the loan if I choose to join JUCo?

Certainly! Any Tanzanian student has right to receive loan from the Higher Education Loan Board (HESLB), provided that they meet necessary requirements.

Does JUCo offer secular pogrammes?

Yes. JUCo offers secular programmes, notably Laws, Social sciences and Humanities, Education and Commerce.
